Balancing Act
We’ve arrived at a crucial point where the game is essentially complete. However, we want to have a deep understanding of the games we send out into the world. Balance is crucial, especially if you want a challenging and rewarding game. I am proud to say that I currently have my brother beat and have logged a solid 200+ hours into playtesting the game. He’ll be catching up to my hours soon, as July is reserved for balancing and polish.
We believe that developers should have extensive knowledge of their own game’s meta and should also have great skill in playing their own game. How else can you accurately relate to your most devoted fans? Even so, I look forward to seeing people from around the world showing me new strategies or achieving much higher scores than me.
Marketing Kickoff
In mid-July, we’ll be starting our marketing efforts. This includes contacting gaming news sites and streaming influencers. Our marketing campaign will not be excessive. We believe that quality games don’t remain unknown for long. To ensure this quality, we would rather spend most of our time actually creating the best possible game.
